Is to educate, entertain and inspire people here in the beautiful North West, to learn about the Norse "Vikings" through immersive events throughout the year , in a safe and family friendly enviornment.
Events
We host and attend historical events throughout the year, where guests learn about the Norse "Vikings" and experience the way they lived. Our main event, "Let's Vike It" brings history to life with the help of our fregna tjald, or open air learning tent museum, where guests can walk amongst authentic artifacts, view educational canvas' highlighting the 'Viking Age' in an easy to understand and fun environment that feels like a 'Viking' longhouse! We also invite vendors and historical demonstrators to share this vast and magnificent history through copper bending, blacksmithing, shield making, historical fighting, safe axe throwing and historical presentations throughout the day, leaving an indelible impression on our guests~

Kari Thompson aka: Hrafn Songr
Kari is passionate about the Viking Era and, as co-founder and Gottirr (clan leader) of Aasveig a sacred place she has worked tirelessly creating activities to bring the Viking Age to the public. Her years of experience as an event and festival planner have helped in the formation of Let's Vike It, a Viking Age Faire the first in the Pacific North West!
